AGALIAZO was founded in 1976 with the aim to support low income cancer patients. Progressively, it became
an organized volunteer society with 1,200 members and 165 trained volunteers. Today, AGALIAZO’s goal is to
increase awareness of cancer through speeches and lectures as well as providing medical services to populations
living in wetland regions and/or socially excluded groups. AGALIAZO also offers psychosocial support and rehabilitation
to patients and families affected by cancer
